  • How durable is a single knot wig?

  • They will last as well as a double knot wig with the proper care.

    As with all hand tied wigs you want to be very careful when washing and styling not to be rough or rub the knots vigorously.

    These single knots are tied using a proprietary knotting technique which keeps the knot secure in the lace.

    Always be careful when washing your wig to be gentle on the knots As with all lace tops do not scrub or rub the knots when washing.

  • Are these knots bleached?

    No. The knots look invisible as we use a custom technique to avoid the knots during the colouring process. Not bleaching the knots helps maintain the integrity and strength of the original knot.

  • Always use salon grade products free of sulphates, heavy silicons and proteins for your Bijoux wig. It is normal to see some colour rinse out with the darker colours for the first few washes as each wig is custom coloured with salon grade hair colouring products.

  • Since these wigs are coloured with salon grade dyes and not factory dyed (textile dyes) some additional colour work could be required over time as the colours oxidize or fade.
